ABOUT
I grew up in North Texas in a family of cowboys and horsemen. Despite my pursuit of varied hobbies and interests, the ranch is at the core of who I am. After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism, I began my career at RIDE TV (now GAC Family), where I ultimately served as the Director of Marketing and oversaw a large variety of operations for seven years.
After getting married and giving birth to my first child in 2021, I took over as the editor of the Cutting Horse Chatter, a publication near to my heart as I grew up a cutting horse trainer's daughter, under the Morris Communications umbrella. Shortly thereafter, I also took over the editor position for the historic Western Horseman, a magazine truly made for the cowboy (or cowgirl) spirit.
As my passions and interests evolved through motherhood and beyond, I wanted to create a space to connect with the things I love and the skills I have honed over the years. For 10 years now, I have thrived in innumerable marketing, digital, events and content projects. I have worked for clients spanning TV and Tech to traditional media, academics, boutiques and many more.
